Is there a way to do this without having to go in the office?

I couldn't tell if that website that everyone is using (MisstoMrs?) does it for you or if you still have to print out the form and go in.

TIA!

I had to go to the office????  and was there about 1.5 hours!

I guess we do this first, then DMV, then all the other things....?

I 'started' but haven't got for- its such a pain haha

ohhh to go to ss, you just need to print out the form on the ss website, and bring it in with your marriage certificate.  you get your new card in about a week....

All the other stuff you just print out teh papers and mail (although my bank has other paper work that I need to do so I didn't need that mrs. site to help....)

I had to go in too. Make sure to make an appointment and allow yourself a lot of time! The lines can be really long.

Wow HMM!  I only waited in line in the San Jose office for ten minutes!  I had to go back three times because I kept forgetting things, as it was my first name change!

Yep, you are going in. It sucks. Reserve an hour just in case

Sorry to ask again... Have you changed your name on your passport?

I had to go in the office, but like Laura I went to the San Jose office and was in and out in like 40 minutes.

I just got around to changing my name on my passport and I did that via postal mail.
