Hello :)

So I have been charting for a few months now and am finally getting the hang of it..sort of...

This months chart is a little confusing to me...or maybe I am just over thinking it...

Do you think I ovulated on Day 13??

Why is my rise after the temperature spike so slow? :/

Do you think my coverline is correct or incorrect???

As far as OPK's, I received a positive in the afternoon and nighttime on Day 13 and then the following morning using FMU, it was positive, then negative that afternoon (Day 14)....

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!! TIA!!

Looks perfect to me! I think you O'd on CD 13 based on your temps and the OPK. My charts would frequently have a big spike post-O and then little tiny bumps in the days after that. So I think the coverline is good, too (typically 0.1 degrees above the highest of your last three pre-O temps). The coverline is not necessarily physiological, just a visual tool for you to help understand your patterns. So no need to worry about that!

I think what was confusing to me was the positive opk the next morning with fmu after the temp spike...I would think it would be negative if I have already ovulated...and you are right MSDL, the coverline is just supposed to be a visual. FF didn't even have a coverline or O' day posted, I just assumed that 97.6 was my coverline and I ovulated on Day 13, so I entered in the data myself. Anyways, thank you for the reassurance!! :)

Oh, I see! I am not sure with the OPKs, so maybe one of the ladies who has experience with them can help explain why it was positive on CD 14!

I'm no expert, but with my experience if I didn't add CM data (in addition to temps) FF couldn't confirm O and therefore I had no cover line. Just a thought, to start tracking CM.

As for the +opk on CD14, my guess is you just had some leftover hormones from the surge. I don't think it's going to be perfect and stop surging at midnight, and bodies can be very "unique". It was then - on the evening of CD14 so O was over. It also is valid to have slow rises, so I wouldn't worry about that.

MSDL: Thanks for your input!! :)

JUNE1BRIDE: haha...Well, June is a popular wedding month ;)

ATHENA85: Ohhh! No wonder why FF hasn't confirmed O! I didn't add my CM because I wasn't really able to tell due to semen..............(Sorry if TMI!!) I would have to agree, I assumed that I had some hormones left over from the surge the day before... Thank you! :)

I just posted about the same thing with OPKs, June! It must be in the air. Lol. Did you test the morning of CD13, or just in the afternoon/evening? I only tested in the morning and it was negative, and then positive this morning after my temp spike just like yours! I wonder if I had tested in the afternoon/evening like you if I would have seen a positive earlier. But from what I've read, it seems like it should positive a full 24-36 hours before O! Who knows, I'm confused. Lol.

FMU is not the best for OPKs because it is more concentrated and you need an accurate measurement of the level to get a true positive.  It is best to test mid morning or mid afternoon.  I would disregard the + you got with FMU.

I did the same thing when I tried OPKs - I think we all do! =)

@littlebit lol I did test in the morning of CD13 but with FMU and then I didn't test again until that evening. I should have tested mid-day but I was running low on tests! ...You probably would have seen a positive if you tested later on in the day. :) I can't help it...I wake up and get too excited to POAS!

@claire Yes, that is what I have heard, but I can't help myself in the mornings hehe. I am going to forget about my + the morning after my temp spike! Note to self: Have some self control and only use FMU with HPTs! ;)

****Thanks ladies!!
