i was wondering about this.  what do they consider conception month?  when you dtd or the date of your last period?

sparkle, the ladies at my job asked when the baby was "made".

hmm, WM, if that is the case, then it's wrong for me.

so, just the cross sectional chart has me at a boy.... but it says boy for me from now until the next 5 months!  But, the lunar chart where i plug in all my info says girl! So the good news it will be one or the other ;) haha

hmmm...I guess looking at the fact that there is a 50% chance of guessing right, this might be why so many people say it predicted correctly for them.

I had also heard about the fetal heart rate thing. One friend told us that if the baby's heartrate is over 160, then it's a girl. Ours was 165 and it was a boy. :-)

The charts I have looked at said a girl.  One chart told me it was a 50/50 chance.  I am having a boy. :)

@brittany: The heartbeat thing is an old wives tale.  The early heartbeat for mine said it was a girl...

Yeah, I think the heartrate thing is probably 50/50 like everything else.

if our ivf cycle sticks in august, it says we will have a girl. i hope so!

the heart rate thing is definetely a myth. an adults heart rate goes up and down, mine is a range of 12 bpm, so a babys heart rate can easily go from 165 to 160 from one min to another
