Grrrrrr so this crap is so never ever ending... and everyone is getting over the Inlaws crap... so my parents live 5hrs away i have not spent a xmas with them for 7yrs (yes 7yrs) =( its so hot at there house n far too lug two kiddies next yr i plan on going there there new home will b built n have AC.... so xmas is not far at all, the inlaws have had a huge whinge that there home is too small n they dont want kids running around n toys in there house!. they have 4 sons in total all grown with partners n 3 of them have 2 kids each so a total of 6 kids ages 8,7 2x 4yrs & 2x 8 months... so when we heard this all of there sons & partners were so offended! there home is 4x bedrooms 2x lounge room 2x dinning room n a large out door entertaining area.... so WTF how do they not have enough room! how many lounge rooms do you need? how many dinning rooms? seriously & WTH is xmas without kiddies laughing, screaming, crying, playing toys & enjoying them self... as a child we never ever had a big home like theres we had a standard 3 bedroom 1 bathroom, 1 lounge room n we all always made do, all my side of the family is the same but DH's parents are so upperty they have a house not a home, lol ours is a home, its tiny we just brought it last yr n are doing it up we plan on extending next yr! so my DH said stuff em we will have xmas solo as just the 4 of us at our home! so thats what were going to do! but my bro n a few family will b with us, it upsets me so bad that his family are like this... were going to have a big feast, a few drinks kick back swim all day n play im sure the kids will love it, i hate rushing here there n everywhere on xmas day. we always just make do with what we have & make the best of it! grrrrr seriously them ppl drive me nuts... so they according to DH wont b seeing us for xmas =( i would invite everyone but we totally dont have the room but we could make do but his parents would complain n whinge n drag our spirits down so DH said noooo forget them.... sorry its long just had to vent!
