Hi,

I am a SC resident getting married in CO and right now, even though my wedding is more than a year off and my guest list is small (looking at about 50 ppl), I'm trying to price acitivies that could be done by my guests.  So far the plan is to get married on a Wed.  but I'm sure ppl would be flying in both Mon and Tues;  I want to do something 'Colorado' based - like horseback riding or a hot air balloon ride but idk...any ideas would be helpful; in all price ranges.

Thanks!!!

Hi there!  Congrats and welcome to PW!  I would actually recommend to your guests that they do something a little lower key the first few days they are here as altitude sickness is very common when you come from a lower altitude - it would be best to save those activities for after the wedding when they are a little more acclimated to having less oxygen!  There are tons of tours in Denver - but where are your festivities?

THANKS!!!! I'm looking at Beaver Creek in August; it just looks so beautiful plus the shuttles and the Eagle Airport is close by - just seems kinda perfect.  I know there's a movie theater and stuff to do in Edwards (where I hope we all lodge) but idk - there's so much to do like you said but I am def concerned about the altitude sickness.
