InkInvitations.com makes some awesome invitations. They're a little out of my price range, but I'm not sure what the prices are. She does custom stuff like boxes lined with exotic silks. She's based in SoCal.

I used Stephita Invitations and highly recommend them for their unique, handcrafted invitations- www.stephita.com
I went to their San Diego location, but they also have a showroom in the LA area I believe. Their service is genuine and cards top-notch!
