Corsages: pin-on vs wristlets

For the corsages, did you choose pin-on or wristlets?  How did you decide? 

Personally, I think I like the pin-ons better because the wristlets remind me too much of prom.  But I asked my future mother-in-law what she thought and she prefers the wristlets (of course she does!) so now I don't know what I should do.

I let my Mom and MIL decide. I figured they were the ones who would have to deal with it all day.

They both chose mini bouquets. (sorry to add another option!)

Grandmothers both chose pin-on.

I spoke to my MIL and stepmother, and both of them requested wristlets.  My stepmother ended up not being able to come to the wedding due to a family emergency with my father, so I ended up giving hers to my cousin who is more of a sister to me. 

I would also take into consideration the type of dress that they are wearing as well because sometimes pin-ons can be heavy, and you don't want to end up ruining their dresses.  HTH!

We did pin on for the men and wristlets for them woman. My mom didn't want to put a pin through her dress!

We mixed and matched. The mom's and grandmothers got wristlets, they were a little bigger and very elegant for special ladies :) Everyone else had pin-ons...I guess my only feeling on this is make sure you have somebody who knows how to do a secure pin checking everyone's!

I was in a wedding not too long ago where we were just handed our pins and I can't do that to save my life so it was falling off all night, and so were a bunch of other peoples! Just add it to your list of things you need help with, a personal attendant or BM can be in charge.

We had pin-on's at my wedding... that was what came with our florists package.

I'll let them decide ... whatever they feel most comfortable with. I do tend to like the pin-ons better though.
