I have been meaning to ask you. What are your going to do about all your dresses? Have you decided which one you will wear for the 2 weddings?

and then for the reception next august - i'm wearing "your" av dress - in "oyster" or white - i am still trying to decide which color to order...

i decided to use the jim hjelm bm dress i got as my hawaii  "backup" for TTD session next year:
good thing since it's not in yet - not vey good "backup" plan i had huh??

You know, I can't inmagine the AV dress in any other color but the Creme. When I went to veiw the dress and pick a color, I really wanted an ivory dress, but then I saw the sample of the dress and it was in creme. That color just fit the dress so well.

I was thinking of ordering that Jim Hjelm one myself as a back up. Let me know when it finally arrives and take pics of yourself in it.

Also, the AV dress will run you between $3200 and $3500 depending what salon you go to. Just wanted to give you a heads up. :0)

Oh and most important, in order to get the dress before August, you must order it no later than October of this year. That is what I did. It took 8 months for it to come in.

8 months??? whoa!!  i guess i can believe it - my henry roth took almost 6 months...

the creme is gorg in the av - but unfortunately - doesnt look good on my skin tone - so after holding the swatches next to my face - and holding up another av dress in oyster and white next to me - i figured one of the 2...

Ok, I see what you mean about the color. I have a light carmel skin tone, so the creme worked for me. :0) I think the oyster would work for you. I'm Black, but I am so light, I get sun burned..haha. My father always makes fun of me...lol

Anywhoo, yes, if you really want that AV dress, order it in October. I ordered my on October 22, 2006 and it arrived sometime during the last week of June 2007. It takes a long time!!!!!

aaahhh - my gf took lots of pics of her daughter on the 1st day of kindergarten last year...  Lauren was like "mom i dont want to take pictures - you're embarraassing me!!!" hahaha aawww - i guess it's true they do grow up so fast?!?!?

i used to love my school supplies more so than the clothes - since my mom bought me clothes all the time - it kinda wasnt a big deal to go "school clothes shopping"

i always got the "trapper keeper" (remember those??)  with the folders of either sanrio - hello kitty or my favorite little twin stars and my melody!!  then the scented erasers!!!  and the random folders of puppies or kittens! hhahahahaa

We are definetly taking lots of pics. Cheyanna LOVES to have her pics taken.

School shopping was a big deal for me and my brother as well. My mom would take us and we would pick out all of our supplies including a trapper keeper. Those were great.

We went to Catholic school, so we wore uniforms. My mom would take us shopping for regular clothes because we had free dress days sometimes.

I swear, I was such a clothes whore when I was a kid. All of my clothes had to be designer. It ticked off my mom, but she still spent the money and bought them..lol

Ahhh yes, Hello Kitty. I remember that so well. My mom would take me to the Hello Kitty store and I wold get all sort sof cool stuff.

Those were the days. Sigh...
