Damask

Hobby Lobby has these damask hat boxes! The one shown here is appx 16" in diameter and was only $10.

They have 2 smaller sizes as well. They are quite sturdy - I'm thinking of using it as my cake stand... or getting the smaller ones and making a tiered card box... can't decide!

I think with a little reinforcement it would be fine for a cake stand, or maybe just use the lid as the cake base so that it's not too overwhelming you know?

Im on the phone with Hobby Lobby- an they wont ship me one! darn.

Also, the 99 cent store in Los Angeles has pink damask print notebooks. They are really cute and if I were doing the damask theme I totally would have got them and figured out someway to use them!

but I'm not sure if all 99 cent stores have the same stuff!
