yes or no? and if yes what time would you hold the reception?

Definite yes, lots of PW ladies have. If it were me, I would probably do it around 3:00 so people have had lunch before the ceremony but the desserts won't ruin their evening meal.

I think it's totally fine..If I would have had one I would have probably had it as an afternoon reception maybe brunch.

Definately yes. Our plan was to have one until two friggin' weeks before the wedding, my dear, sweet hubby changed his mind. I think its a great idea. As far as time, I  would say 2ish.

Love it!! I thinking of doing that, just make sure to have some fruit or not so sweet items  because  someone could have diabetes or something like that.

Actually my mom does have diabetes! But I'm trying to see if I can order fruit and veggie trays from the caterer instead of dinner as any food item not baked has to come from a caterer. SUPER ANNOYING! My biggest regret in this wedding process has been picking a venue I love but getting trapped into a contract that we very simply can't afford.
