okay - planning hormones have reached an all time high!

i cannot stop mother effing crying!  i cry at everything now!  when the eff did this happen to me?  usual nerves of steel are gone-zo the closer i get to my wedding date...

i was trying to find this one song by aretha - and then stumbled upon the "divas" series from vh1 and found myself sprouting waterworks upon listening to mariah carey

yes - mariah carey of the late 80s and 90s!   she's always been one of my faves - and ok her voice has been strained from singing all these years - but i still love her

this brought back so many memories

As for Mariah -  I haven't liked her since she got "brand new"  after leaving Tommy Mattola -  ...yeah that long .....

niecy - i kinda feel the same way about mariah. i've always felt that her best song was "vision of love" and she's gone gradually downhill ever since...

but i do love "always be my baby"

and i did cry a lot when she sang "i'll be there" at the MJ tribute.........

I have always loved Mariah! I was in beauty pageants in my early teen years (I know, don't judge me or my parents) and I sang "Vision of Love" for my talent. I still love her, even though I don't enjoy the music she makes now as much as I do her older songs.

That first VH1 Divas show they did was awesome. The new one they just did with Miley Cyrus, Leona Lewis, etc. was so not as amazing!

Agreed jamichael -  I much preferred the "Vision Of Love" Mariah  to the ho-cake version  -  and Vision of Love was her best song IMO
