I finally got to painting our monogram onto the aisle runner.  I'm really happy with the way it turned out.  My FBIL thought that I had the monogram PRINTED onto the frabric :D  More info and details in bio.

I finally got to photo 70253-1

Thanks ladies!

Peanut, I made it myself.  I purchased the fabric at a discount fabric warehouse in SF for $2.98/yrd.  Its just about 5' wide.  My Mom sewed the end so it looks finished.  I used my FI's projector to trace the image onto the fabric.  I had the paints (acrylic) and brushes.  In the end, the only out-of-pocket expense was the fabric...about $40.

This project (as many DIY projects) takes patience.  My back is sore from hunching over the table painting all yesterday afternoon.
