I cannot say enough about afloral.com! I purchased my bouts, bridesmaid bouquets, and centerpiece flowers:

The quality is amazing!! THe morning of my wedding, we were heading to breakfast and my Aunt saw the flowers laying around and she said, "Should we turn the air up, put those in water? I would hate for them to wilt" I was like wow-they are fake! No one noticed at all.

The best part: 6 bouquets (the ones pictured above), 6 orchid bouts for the boys, 3 different orchid corsages for the Moms, and 10 orchid stems for our centerpieces I paid $51.23!! They constantly have deals you can find online, for a % off, or free shipping.

It was the BEST way to do my flowers. I would order and they would be at my door by 9am the next morning.

I have ample planning time so I waited for end of season sales. 85% off is helpful. When it comes to DIYing your masterpiece make sure you take your time and try to plan out a design you are trying to achieve. I re-did my bouquet a few times until I was happy with the last design. I finally found an inspiration pic and it really made a difference for me.

I have 7 bouquets and I paid under $100 (for all involved costs). I mainly went to Michael's.

I have heard a ton of wonderful comments from customers from Afloral.com, Shipping to Canada was out of my price range for me to be able to try them :(

Thanks ladies!

Jess did you buy them already made or did you diy?

They came as premade bouquets. They were wrapped with really cute raffia bows that would have been great if I was doing a rustic/country wedding. Since we were at the beach, I cut the raffia and wrapped them in ribbon that I had. The cost per bouquet, which were 7 stems, was only 3.99!!

I did the bouquets with stuff from Afloral.com, and my inspiration for my bouquet came from an idea on that site.  They have great ideas for bouquets and centerpieces (check their Wedding Design Ideas and their blog), and they include videos for a few "how-to" things.

Here was my inspiration:

As far as the bouts, I was inspired by some that mahoganieyes found on etsy.com from VintageJunkGirl.  They're made out of vintage sheet music, and I was able to get 6 of them for $6.  They were 2 inches in diameter, the perfect size for the guys, and while I didn't do anything else to them (I wanted them simple), you certainly could dress them up a bit if you wanted.  I just glued a pin back to each and they worked perfectly.

Such a great post! *saving for inspiration* I might go this route myself. My FI loves to read and it just dawned on me after seeing @moore807's post that maybe I could do a boutonniere for my FI out of a book instead of sheet music? Such great ideas everyone! Thanks @Jen3641 for making this post!

You are right jenxash. This is a great post!  If you want real flowers, try Sam's club or my personal favorite, Kroger. I go to Kroger every Wednesday to buy flowers because it is me and my sweetie's date night and there are some amazing arrangements in there for dirt cheap!  The florist in Kroger is doing all my bouquets, mine, moh, and three bridesmaids for $80 and she does EXCELLENT work!  I think I am going to go to the website above for my toss bouquet.

Please view my shopping cart below and tell me if you think I have enough to make a bouquet?

My colors are purple and teal

Thanks!

It doesn't come up.  It does depend on how large of a bouquet you want.  For mine, I used 3 hydrangeas, 2 stephanotis, 3 anemones, and 2 rose sprays.
