DIY decor - pic heavy

I’ve started working on the decor… We have a retro-disco theme so we are doing blinged silver bottles and jars.

It’s quite the money-saver since all the bottles and jars are coming completely free from used bottles and jars from family, friends and also from several restaurants (if you ask them, they are happy to give you all the used bottles they have and will throw anyway)

First I soak them in hot water and soap to clean and help remove the labels.

(clean, un-labeld jars)

Put tape were I whant the glitter to stop

Then I put glue on them and quickly run them in glitter. The bottles I spray them with silver paint and “drizzle” some glitter before it sets.

Let them dry…

Ready!

This is the idea so far… Big and small bottles with some baby’s breath and a jar with a whitw ribbon and a candle!

Hmm... maybe with some extra pictures it would be decen enough for an article.

I figured I will need at least 150 of each so I have my work cut out!

Awesome job!! My centerpieces were sort of similar (i had three size bottles) but I wish I would have had the patience to do the glitter!! That looks AMAZING!!!!! And I love the baby's breath!!
