Here is another DIY project

I bought Lisa Pavelka Butterfly Poly clay mold/embossers, BUT they are Food Safe. They have a wine glass and a fork on the molded plastic.

The butterflies come in 3 sizes.

I used Wilton Fondant in a box. I chose pure white and added a little blue to some of the dough and created a marbled effect. I also left half Pure White. The blue will go on the White frosted cupcakes and the white is going on the Blue Cake and blue frosted cupcakes.

I bent the butterflies to add depth and air dried. I used paperplates with rounded edges to help hold the butterflies shape whilst drying.

I used a copper cookie cutter for the snowflake designs.

I will be air brushing with a champagne color on half of the white and using pearl on the Pure white to help bring out the detail of the embossing.

I promise these were a very simple and quick DIY and one I highly suggest for a birthday or other celebration.

I know I am a little crazy doing it for our vow-renewal wedding cake.
