I made an attempt at bridal make-up for my shower. I used a sample of Make-up forever primer, foundation and finishing powder based on a sephora reco. I also had MAC lipstick and gloss but by the time this pic was taken it was basically just the gloss. I plan to have fake eyelashes too but I didn't want to do too much just for the shower.

Suggestions for changes are welcome!!! I do have a professional make-up trial this week but she may not be able to do it on the day of the wedding so it may just be an educational session.

You look beautiful!!! You did a fantastic job. I wouldn't worry if your makeup artist couldn't do it the day of, because this looks professional. If you want a longer lasting lipstick, I can recommend revlon's 24 hour color stay liquid lipstick. It seriously lasts all day, and won't come off on your DH when you smooch! It's a tiny bit sticky, so I put some Vaseline over it.

Great job!! Don't be shy about amping up the blush a bit on the day as you don't want to look washed out...

You did a great job! I would put just a hint of more blush and a little eyebrow pencil!

(I am also curious to see you with just a tone more intense color lipgloss, although this looks very very good)

I love it! I agree with AshKate on the blush though. I felt like a clown when I DIYed my engagement photo makeup, but it turned out great in the pictures. Not adding enough color to your cheeks can make you look washed out very easily!

I would also maybe even add a little bit more eyeliner to really make your eyes pop. With photos, you need a little bit extra than what you think is reasonable.

Also, for lip color I suggest Revlon Just Bitten. It's a lip stain and it doesn't come off! Mine lasted for 5 hours, easily, and I never had any issues with any smudging or coming off on FI. ;)

BEAUTIFUL!  You did a fantastic job, but definitely take into mind some of the things the others have said--a little more blush and a lipcolor that has staying power.

ok so more blush, try revlon lip color, eyebrow pencil/powder, eyeliner. Plus like I said I'll have eyelashes. I'll try these the next time I play around and I'll post the changes. Thanks!!

Your face looks so soft, seriously I just want to rub your cheek (haha not in a weird way?)
