Well I'm in the process of designing our invites and I'm hoping to DIY the following:

  • Pomanders
  • Birdcage veil with a feather hair flower clip

yes:

1. moss letters- first i ran out of moss, then glue

2. bridal party tees- mine is done, haven't found the right iron on for my girls

3. boxy make up bags are in progress- didn't realize i didn't have a zipper foot for my sewing machine.

... i had started to do pomanders but figured out  that, for me, they were just as expensive as flowers!

I just bought a hoodie and skirt for my wedding day combo (Thank you old navy) and I'm not sure where to get the iron on's or jewels or whatever...anyone have any suggestions?

I started on my cake table letters, they are painted but i have to add some sparkle to them somehow.

Just got the picture frames for our table numbers yesterday so going to start working on those.

Other than that... lol I got ALOT to do still.

Sooo not crafty. Will probably attempt to make a cardbox based on a picture on the June '11 board at theknot. Otherwise I am not touching anything! I did see a fabulous idea for a guest "book" on etsy. It's a painting of a tree and the guests leave a green thumbprint on a branch and sign their name, my niece may have to help with that. I love the idea of something we can display in our house instead of a book collecting dust in the cedar chest.
