I never thought I would need a card box so I never bothered to make one until 2 weeks before my wedding.  We got so many gift card and checks on the mail!  So I bought this pumpkin basket from Michael's, and used my extra flowers and fabric that I have.  Something different...

Ta-daaa!!!

I cut out the fabric and the slot in the middle, glued flowers around it, and sewed the fabric. 

When I sewed the fabric, it stretched out and the slot that I had originally cut in the middle went on the side... LOL!

I didn't have any more time to re-do the sewing and to even buy a better fabric.  So I glued some more flowers on the other side to make up for the non-centered slot. =D  This is not a good picture of it anymore since I took this after the wedding.

I did glue popsicle sticks in the slots to make it rigid.  Can't help how people put their cards into the slot. 

Here it is!  The card slot is already damaged since I took this pic after the wedding.

That is so cute and I never would have thought of using a basket.

oH Im so going to Michael's and see if they still carry this basket. Im having a fall wedding and Pumpkins are a major thing. Ty for sharing it looks amazing.
