Ok...so because my reception venue is very expensive for our budget, I knew that I was going to take on ALOT of DIY projects, but then I started thinking that some may just be cheaper and easier to buy, once you total up all the materials you may need...so here is where YOU come in, tell me if I should DIY or BUY these items...

Disposable Bling Cameras, so guests can capture candid moments, 10 for $70.00, DIY or BUY?

Table Numbers, DIY or BUY

Crystal Bouquet Holder, $160, DIY or Buy?

This is the cake I am asking the baker to do, but he will add some royal blue elements to it...but the cake topper is what I am referencing, $90.00, DIY or BUY?

I would buy the cameras, and DIY the rest!

If you buy rhinestones in bulk it's probably way less expensive to DIY all those items. And the cameras... I recommend dropping those entirely!

More than one personal friend has bought cameras for the tables ($$), paid a lot of money to have them developed, and ended up with 5 - 10 decent (not necessarily good) pictures.

You can totally DIY the table #'s, Cake Topper and bouquet holder, also with Pick disposable cameras hardly turn out good shots.

i'd skip the cameras altogether imo

see if someone here wants to share the cost of the cake topper with you - or look for a used one

bouquet wrap - ditch it - instead by a stretchy kids bracelet from claire's for $12

table numbers - buy

time is money to me - so the more time i save with trials, etc - the less headache i have, and in the long run, the more money i  save

There is a story behind disposable cameras and our families...the whole point is to capture "candid" moments, not necessarily good ones, FHs sister did disposable for hers and she made a candid camera photo album out of it...and let's just say....we have some funny proof of what people do when they are tipsy or think no one is watching!  Her wedding was a lot smaller than ours will be, so we are hoping to capture some good stuff.

I agree that you might want to just drop the cameras. Lots of people bring their own cameras to weddings and would probably be happy to email you the pictures that they took. Plus there's not a whole lot you can do with film pictures once they're developed other than stick them in an album.

I think if you buy alot of rhinestones, you could easily DIY everything else!

the cameras maybe you should not do..the cake topper..try ebay bc im getting the same exact one for like 60...with full crystals..and by the time you buy all the crystals and the labor..i would say just buy it!!  and the bouquet wrap..what just doing 2 parts to it instead of the whole thing wrapped??

chances---> here's a prime example of what drunk people do with those cameras - true story at dh's buddy's wedding...

people's feet, the same people in the pics over and over and over  and not lookin good or even smiling; the floor, the ceiling, people in the bathroom

imagine shelling out all that money only to get those duds...

just sayin...
