Hi Ladies!! I was just wondering if anyone has booked a DJ yet??
Has anyone heard of good or bad DJ's from the Cincy/Dayton Area??+Price Ranges?? I know there aren't many Cincy brides on here...

I'm considering booking Party Pleasers, I knew they were going to be a bit pricier than I wanted but the guy called me up & offered me a nice little discount because our wedding is on Friday. So I may just go ahead and book them. Has anyone heard of Party Pleasers??

Thanks for your help   :)

Hey! Cincy bride here. :)  But since I'm not from the Cincy area...I have been pumping my caterer for vendor recommendations.  Party Pleasers came highly recommended from her!

We're using someone from the northern Columbus area that is willing to travel to Cincinnati because he is a friend referral.  You might want to check him out if you are on a tight budget!  He just did my FI's twin's wedding last March, and we really liked him!!  His name is DJ Don, at djdon.com.  You should give him a call!

Thanks!Sara.Smiles.7!!  I've been to two weddings recently & the DJ's were AWFUL!!!! I kinda felt bad for the married couple because I know they were on a bit of a tight budget so their DJ was last on the bottom of the priority list. I went to several Bridal shows with plenty of DJ's offering discounted packages ranging from $300-$500 which I think is very affordable, but after going to my friends' weddings. The Fiance told me "we NEED to find a decent DJ, because this sucks" lol. I didn't want to spend $1,000 but I guess you get what you pay for MOST of the time. Anyways....
Party Pleasers is taking $300 OFF their $995 package for our Friday wedding
=Unlimited hours, DJ+Master of ceremony, back up sound system, Dance Lighting(colors+mirrored ball-whoopdido), We can choose as many songs as we want from their 50,00 song playlist(they can also add any song they don't already have) I like how you+your guests can go online & add songs-you can edit the ones you don't like.

So does that seem like a decent deal? Thanks for the help & advice!

We also booked party pleasers. They can highly recommended from our venue and we've had a good experience so far. Also, party pleasers was very reasonably priced. I know some of the other places I called were $1000+ one was $1500 for 4 hours.

I think you made a good choice!  From everything I've heard about Party Pleasers, it sounds like you got a really good deal.  :)  Cross it off the ever-growing list!!
