Do Not Play List ???

Its so funny that everyone is saying NO to celebrate.  The venue owner actually suggested that we play that song as our first song, to get everyone out on the dance floor.  I couldnt tell her no to her face, but the DJ will def get an email letting him know, Celebrate is not an option.  Fi and I are def going the non traditional route for all of our music!

These are funny. I couldn't think of specific songs but I did say absolutely no Brittney Spears, Rihianna, or Kesha (or whatever the hell her trashy name is). Oh and no "Born This Way" either.

We made our own music list, it's in my bio, so we luckily got to pick every single song we wanted.

We stayed away from pop, hip hop, and most line dances, like macarena and chicken dance.

YMCA, Celebration, We Are Family... Anything traditionally played at weddings. I hate that stuff! Blah.

Three days before FI proposed to me, we were at a wedding, and one of my good friends (who I'm actually talking to on IM right now) leaned over to me and said, "when you and Tim get married, because y'all are gonna get married, you are NOT ALLOWED to play cha cha slide at your wedding!"

Which I'm fine with.  Yes, some DJs are great I'm sure, but I am like Gator Bride, except cheap, and so between budget and music control freak, I am making the playlists.  :)

At least, until one of FI's drunk best men takes over, as he's threatening to.  Sigh.  Hopefully he'll wait until later in the night.
