Since we've been engaged I feel like more and more of our friends who are starting interracial relationships...or who have family who are... are asking for advice on what to expect.  Moreover the backlash from society.  Luckily we haven't had any issues ourselves... but it's interesting to be asked. :) 

Anyone else get that? 

We don't know any other interracial couples at this point. But we do get some stares sometimes when we go to areas that are primarily Caucasian like when we went to cape cod and we actually live in an area that is primarily white.and I feel like when we buy a house it will be limited to  certain cities/towns. I am Caucasian and DH is Hispanic. We both grew up in Springfield, Ma which is only 15mins from where we live now, but it was more diverse.

we dont have many friends in IR's, but we have always been the friend that everyone comes to for advice. 

as far as public occurrences we have only had one major an some staring but for the most part we dont get much attention. i guess its just more common around our area. everyday i see at least one couple like us. 

back when i was living with my mom ,close to predominately Caucasian area. we got the one an only comment , we were in the grocery store of all places picking out ice cream an some ignorant guy walks by an says "your parents must be real proud of you"

we just dont think much of others views on IR. its their ignorance an god well do his job one day
