Interested in getting some DOC pricing and recommendations. Is a DOC needed? I'm pretty organized but should I just delegate stuff to clean up?

If you are getting married in the Bay Area, expect to most likely pay $1000 on up.  It just depends on the planner, the wedding location, and the package.  A DOC is nice even for the most organized brides, as you and your family want to enjoy the big day and not worry if all of the vendors arrived, your favors are set out, etc.  You want a stress-free day and that is what the DOC should be able to do for you.  Good luck!

If you just are going for day-of, there are a few PW girls that do it for around $600

Jaryce21 and Annaliese come to mind.  People have said good things about both of them on here.

Definitely check out the above mentioned PW brides :) And shop around as well.  There is such a variety of planners out there and I'm sure that there is someone who fits your style/personality and budget. I hired Arlene Marcos of Ah...New Beginnings for the day-of and she was wonderful. Everything ran smoothly and I was stress free.

When I got married I had a knottie I made friends with do my wedding for "donations only" and before my wedding I did the same for another bride who donated nothing but I was willing to do it for the experience. Pay it forward!!

Maybe you have an acquaintance or cousin that would like to help out.

My DOC was about $500 and I'm in the bay area. She also has the cheapest chiavari chairs I have found after a ton of research, $4.50 each.

Kristina V Events is her company, it won't let me post a link yet so sorry for that inconvenience.

I consider myself pretty organize and OCD. I had thought about using family and friends to help set up the day of the wedding but honestly, I think hiring an EXPERIENCED DOC is a MUST-HAVE.

There was some drama at my venue due to double booking and my DOC had to handle it. I don't think my family and friends would have been capable of handling drama, set up, and yet STILL start on time.

So save yourself any possible heartache and hire one.

I highly recommend Adrienne from Tickled Events.
