I would go to the hospital. Sometimes they can't do anything helpful, but they can run an hcg level for you - and your dr can repeat it Jan 2nd to compare (even though it's best to have it 48 hours after). If you are above 1500 they
may be able to see something with an ultrasound - at least the sac. If you have a subchorionic hematoma that should appear as a blackish spot - that could be the cause of your bleeding. I know AuntTate had one in her first trimester and
is doing fine now and a previous TTC member, missbliss also had one and she gave birth to a healthy girl days before Christmas. If you do go to the hospital, I wouldn't let them give you any sort of shot or meds though at this point (unless
they do a scan and it seems to be ecptopic). If nothing else, your dr should have an answering service available 24 hours. I woud hope s/he would call you back with their recommendation. When I had my m/c I called my dr on a Friday night
and he called me back just before 11pm so it's not something that never happens. FX for you!
