So maybe this idea is old, but I just heard about it!  When you are eating dinner, wear an apron (aptly decorated of course with Mrs. XXXXX).  So cute, and preserves your perfect gown.

That's a cute idea.  Any examples?

If you google search photo 70843-1 If you google search "wedding reception apron" there are TONS to choose from.  It is way cheaper to make your own from Joanne Fabrics, though!  And then you can personalized it with Mrs. Smith or whatever.  They are cool though b/c they are actually practical and you can wear them again :) ... assuming you like to cook!

I just made sure to have good napkin coverage on my lap and to sit a little further from the table than I normally do so that should something go wayward, I'd have room to dodge it.  I am notorious for spilling SOMETHING on myself (Queen of the Tide Pen here!) and wonders of wonders I had NO wedding day mishaps in my off-white gown! AMAZING!
