I thought this might be fun. If you had NO budget, what dress would you wear on your big day? Post more then one if you want...after all you have NO budget =o), you could change every hour if you wanted lol I'll post mine later,right now I have to get ready for work =oP

FUN!! I fell in love with this dress when I saw it at the Vera Wang trunk show. 13K was way out of my budget. Plus I don't think I could ever swallow spending that much on a dress.

This was my first choice dress. It is by Lazaro. It would have been about $4500. To be honest, I can afford it, but I just didn't want to spend that much on a dress.

Oops, was caught at work looking for my dream dress! But in my searching, I realized that I really do love my dress...with some planned alterations. Really, I would just have it tightened at the hips to make it more of a trumpet skirt.

Ever since Sarahmkruse posted the picture of this dress (also by Pronovias), I've been in love with it. Honestly, its not so much about my budget as it is the cut not so flattering on my body type. I can't pull it off...I tried.

That dress is beautiful. Pronovias is amazing. I remember right after I got engaged, I went, with my mom, to barns and noble to look at wedding magazines . One of the mags had a pronovias booklet in it of there new collection, my eyes popped from my head as my mom snatched it out of my hands and said "don't even think about it" lol. The prices weren't in the booklet,but my mom knew who they were and there prices.

I love the dress that I already bought, but I have to be honest, everytime I see my dream dress which I posted above, I become very sad.

In away, I guess I think I just should have shelled out the $4500 and just bought it instead of buying my second choice dress.

I swear, when I put on my first choice dress, my first reaction was "oh my god. it's the one." But when I was told the cost, I decided to find something else even though I could afford it and my husband was telling me to get it. I just didn't want to spend that much on a dress. I wanted to spend the extra funds on other things like great food, minimoom, etc.

I know I did the right thing, I just still get depressed everytime I see my dream dress or think about it. :0(

awww =o( I know how you feel. I can't afford anything I like. Every time I see a dress I LOVE, it winds up being over my budget and I get that feeling in my tummy...like someone put a big rock in it.
