When is everybody having their first fitting? Mine just needs to be taken up...a lot...and add a bustle. I want to do it soon though! Just because I want her done and ready to wear :) :) I might also get one layer of crinoline taken out. I like that it's a ball gown type, but I thinking it would still be perfect with one layer taken out. We'll see!

i think i am going the last week of june. origionally, i was going to have it done at the store where i bought the dress, but there is a dress tailor closer to me and cheaper, so im going to take it there (and pray the entire time that i didnt make a bad call!) but my appt at the bridal shop is the second week of july, so i want to make my tailor appt sooner, just incase they cant do what i need. which is only taking it in around the bust and bustling it, so im sure its just basic skills required. im soo excited to see how it looks when it really fits me!!

I was told to do my first fitting 8 weeks before the wedding..which means end of next month <--holy cow..just about had a heart attack writing that!:)

I might do it on June 16th! My dress is at my parents house, and I will be in the area that day...The guy said he needs two weeks for the alterations, which is nothing! If all goes well...lol. But like I said I'm impatient! End of June would be my other option!

I just had my first fitting and she was happy I came in so early because I have a very detailed gown and we'll need several appointments. The first one is to take it in. Then once that's perfect we'll shorten it and decide on the bustle. Then perfect it from there. I have 3 more appointments before the wedding.
