What are your thoughts? What would you prefer to have? What are you planning?

Yes I would prefer to have one to shorten this guest list down. My mom and I have never really traveled and that would have been a great opportunity to have a family vacation, wedding and honeymoon in one.

DW for us! Still waiting on a decision, though...It was always FI's dream to get married on a beach.

We're staying close to home... we want family to be there and we both have rather large ones. His family definitely does not have the money to travel, and our wedding budget is very modest. The idea of a DW kind of freaks me out---it's hard enough being 1.5 hours from my wedding location, I can't imagine if I was planning it so far away that I would never see it before arriving for the wedding!

We are having a DW in Maui!  I can't wait!  I originally pictured it being much smaller than it has become but it will be gorgeous and perfect even with a few more people than we had planned.

i would prefer to have a DW ! but as what is expected is to do something more traditional and have a big wedding... so we are not sure but we may break the rules and just go with DW!!! ;D
