what do you do with your e-ring? do you wear it on your right hand until after the ceremony and then slip it back on infront of your new band? im sure i can do "what ever i want" but i was just curious what people typically do. i was half tempted to have FI put my band and my ring on my finger, but i didnt know if that would be a little much lol.

My ring doesn't fit on my right so I had DH's brother (best man) hold on to both rings. The priest blessed the wedding bands, DH put it on and after the mass BM gave me my E-ring. Whatever you decide to do will work out just fine!

I'll have my e-ring (which actually is a band!) in my right hand and slip it on the left after the ceremony. I sometime tried to wear it in my right hand just to "practice" and seriously...it feels really weird! I'll be happy to put it back where it belong as soon as possible!

I actually put my ring on my right hand during the ceremony and switched it back afterwards.

I'm going to have it on my right and then switch it after the ceremony. :)

I like to wear mine on the left hand because it's the side of the heart (silly I know). I will wear my wedding band there too!

@pavez- iv tried it on my right hand too, and it does feel sooooooo wierd!!!! thats probably what ill wind up doing thought. i think our ceremony should only be around 20 minutes, and i know ill be eager to put it back on my left hand asap!!!

I wore mine on my right hand during the ceremony, then switched it back.  If I hadn't been able to do that, I would've had my sister wear it during the ceremony and give it back after.

I gave it to my matron of honor to wear and she gave it back to me after the ceremony was over.

I'm using my engagement ring as my only wedding ring (I don't like the band), so I'm not wearing it at all during or before the ceremony. It will be tied to the ring bearer's pillow. But I think wearing it on your right hand is traditionally what's done:)
