Hi girls!!!

I am so excited!

So I was planning out our reception song list and we chose "Cant help falling in love" by Elvis and I thought..."How awesome would it be to have ELVIS sing our first dance??!!!???" So I have started searching for Elvis impersonators and getting quotes. The best part is, it will be a surprise to everyone but me and my moh! Not even my FI will know about this, but I know he will get a kick out of it! A lot of my Aunts are Elvis fans so I know they will love it! I think it will give my reception that extra punch!

That guy doesn't really look like Elvis to me.

I've heard so many great reviews about Travis Allen.  He's supposedly the #1 young Elvis impersonator in Las Vegas! And he's won a bunch of contests and performs ina bunch of shows. 

He is the #1 choice of brides on thekn**.com, too.

The Elvis i've been in contact with is more of the older Elvis persona...but he's won a lot of awards too and has been doing it for 25 years. I think he sounds like him and moves like him.  I checked out the guy you suggested and I really dont think he looks like Elvis either...the pic you posted does, but in the videos I watched and pictures I saw, I dont like the looks of him as much. Plus, he's not available for my wedding date.

I'm sorry. I wasn't trying to put down the guy you posted.  I was just trying to give you some options.  I love the idea of having an Elvis at a Vegas wedding.  I'm sure it'll be a fun and exciting touch to your reception. :)

Oh Starbux! I didnt think you were putting down my Elvis! :) I think I was just trying to convince myself that he was good enough! lol Im sorry if it came out that way! oops! I love the idea of having a younger Elvis since my wedding is a vintage 50's theme...he would fit in much better! But he is more expensive and not available. The Elvis we are going with will DJ throughout the night too, and originally we were just going to do an ipod reception, so I am excited to include a DJ and entertainment for our guests. I figure that everyone will love a little Elvis in VEGAS. Im just hoping it doesnt turn out to be too cheesy! I was going to keep it a surprise from my FI, but decided to tell him to keep him from feeling ambushed or irritated that some guy in a jumpsuit was just sprung on him like that! Im glad I did too, because he didnt like the idea at first but has warmed up to it. Better now than on our wedding day! It will still be a surprise to everyone else though, so I am excited about that. I really do appreciate your input! I wish he had been available, because the younger, sexy Elvisin leather is much more my thing!
