How are you doing the entrance? Are you staying at the venue or arriving just as the wedding is going to start?  We are getting married at his house, I have no idea where I will be.

We are getting married at the FI's grandparents house.  For the most part I will be ready since I will have already done my bridal shoot the month before.  And we're planning on taking our couples pictures before the ceremony since we don't start until 6 pm and I don't want to make our guests wait too long before eating.  Plus, we don't mind seeing each other before the ceremony.  We're pretty much married already!

Oh yeah to answer your question, we will be there quite awhile before the ceremony starts.  =)

Do you know where you will be getting ready?  If you are getting ready at his house, you can just stay inside until the wedding starts.  Or are you going to get a suite for you and your mom or bridesmaids the night before?  If that's the case, then you could arrive just before the ceremony starts.

I think I'm planning on staying inside as the guests arrive so they can't see me before the ceremony starts.

I am way too cheap to get a room.

there is a bridal suite house at the venue so we will be in there and I will walk down the stone stairs where my dad will meet me then we will walk over the bridge to the for my entrance.

1967: me too!  Which is why I just plan on staying inside as the guests arrive and are seated until the ceremony is ready to begin.  Because you would also have to arrange for transportation from the room to the ceremony and that would be another expense.

My partner and I are getting married on our 10th anniversay of meeting each other.  The ceremony will be across the street from our apartment in a beautiful park.  We live in Brooklyn NY in a wonderful Brownstone, so I am going to decorate the stoop with a garland of different types of greenery and ivory ribbons!  We will each be escorted by members of our families.  We will have an electirc violinist playing while guests arrive and once he sees us, he will start playing music we have already selected with him.  I will decorate the entrance of the park with with the same garland with the ribbon and this time I'm going to put flowers<roses> in these arrangements.  Also in the park I am going to place large vases with cherry bloosms<4>that will then be brought into the apartment and placed in our very large windows that open onto the park.  I want to have a very close, intament gathering.  All will be close to us and in the invitation it says to join in the circle of love to celebrate the love of the One who created them, so I sorta want to have a circle around us!  All guest, upon arrival will be given a glass of champaigne to enjoy during the ceremony!  There will be a cocktail hour out on the stoop, with more champainge and passed goodies!  Then all will go into the apartment for the reception!  Let's all pray for great weather on April 7, 2012!!!!
