Envelopes = sad

So last night I finished hand addressing my invite envelopes and am not as happy as I was hoping to be. The envelopes were so expensive - you guys think I should redo, or just go with it? Wish I could post a pic but camera is currently MIA.

I mean the rest of the invite is perfect, handmade, etc... I just dont like how my handwriting looks on the envelope... =( super flustered

Don't stress over it...it's an envelope!  Can you  honestly remember how anyone else's invitation envelopes looked when you got them in the mail?  Do you know what you even did with them?  Probably just threw them away!  Do not worry about it...I wouldn't buy new ones to do over if I were you!  It's not worth the money!  The invitations are, as you said, perfect, and that's what matters.  Just breathe! :)

I did the same thing!!! I practiced my calligraphy but I hated how they looked I ended up redoing ALL of them in a beautiful font and printing them on my computer

Honey, don't stress. All people do with an envelope is tear it open and throw it away. If you like the invite, go with the ones you did. Seriously, they are garbage bound, the invite is what goes on the fridge :-)

Yeah, I agree with beatie, don't worry about it. No one is going to notice the handwriting on the envelope. I did all the handwriting on mine and some of them looked like crap. And after they went through the machines at the post office they looked even worse... all scuffed and some had black marks on them. But I didn't care because I spent all my time and energy on the contents of the envelope, not the outside.

All anyone is going to look at is what's inside the envelope. That's all that matters. No worries. :-)

Beatie your right - I cant even remember the envelopes from the weddings i just went to a months ago. I did print a few on computer - but they were not coming out as centered as I was hoping for...

DOnt worry about it. People never remember the envelopes!!! I throw them away!!!!!! I am sure they are a lot better than you think

I agree with everyone here... no one really ever remembers the envelope and the only person that would dream of keeping the envelope might be your grandma or mom haha!

Also, the whole point of hand writing you own invites is to put that extra personal touch. Everyone will know you took the time to write out the invites and its a part of you that put them together! So don't worry!
