eh, I wouldn't be incredibly sure. I've posted a lot of good things about them online... I'm willing to post a lot of bad

Both dresses are really pretty. I LOVE the lace on the first one. I don't think it's typical for these dressmakers to do real bustles, so you'll probably have to hire a seamstress to do that for you. Bummer about the measurements on the mother's dress. Maybe you want to have her go somewhere for professional measurements so you don't wind up with 2 dresses. I know you said you double checked, but just as an added precaution...?

yeah the lace is pretty. It wasn't as impressed with it as I was with the karena royale... I guess I'd need to compare the two again, but I can tell you the cut on the karena royale fit way better than the replica. I'm pretty disappointed on how long my dress is too.

Well the thing you need to keep in mind iwth all of these chinese dressmakers is that you are trying to create a replica of what they "looked" like. You can't really compare them to the original, especially the way they fit. The dressmakers are simply going off of a picture, it's not like they have the original dresses to pick apart and make the inside the same. Maggie dresses are known for their supportive corset and being very structural, I honestly don't think you'll find anything like that by any replica dressmaker.

As for the length, that's absolute ridiculous. Your dress is about the same as the way Milly made my dress. I literally could have taken off 8 inches and still worn 3-4" heels. It was absolutey absurd. I feel your pain on that. And, for them to make you two dresses based off the same measurements and have the 2nd dress be so much longer then the 1st...they have no excuse for that at all.

No, they don't. and that's fine. I can get it taken in... it's quite a hassle. and I'm frustrated about it because I don't have the money for it, but there is no reason it should be longer.. but I much more care about the mother of the groom dress

the more I look the more irritated that I am about how dang long my dress is.

ennn, I think the dresses are beautiful, I am really sorry that the size do not fit you well. I know the feelings when I love a dress but cannot fit the right size, that's too bad. When I order my custom made dress, in order to make sure the size is exactly correct, I asked the local tailor to measure myself. Luckly, the dress come out to be perfect fitting on.

As for the length of the dress, they are requested three different measurements, like the "Shoulder to hem", "shoulder to waist" and "waist to hem", the measurements "Shoulder to hem" is the length from shoulder to the hemline your dress goes including the heel, it should be measure from the side or the back of your body. the measurement "Shoulder to waist" should be measured from shoulder to waist over the bust. I just checked them measurement guide and find the details http://www.dressilyme.com/how-to-measure-chd-27/

Maybe you should take the dress to your local shop to alter it or send it back to DressilyMe...We are looking forward to know how DressilyMe will go for this case. I think they will make a good solution to your dresses. Hope it can be solved soon.

Sunnyzx, you seem to be very well informed on how dressilyme works. Are you the "Sunny" that works at Dressilyme? I have received emails from a "Sunny" at dressilyme when I have made inquiries.

haha she talks like it, and it would be pretty sketch if she was considering she's pretending to not be.

and I double and triple and quadruple checked my measurements. I have no faith in their saying that the mother of the groom dress is the right measurements when one of my dresses was the perfect size and the other is like 6 inches too long. it's awful. and I imput the EXACT same measurements.  I used the guide to do the measurements, and we did the same for mine, and all my bridesmaid dresses. other than the length on one of mine, the bridesmaid dresses are practically perfect. plus the picture of the mother of the groom dress on the website is more of an a-line. what we got was definitely a mermaid, especially in the back.

haha she talks like photo 1850617-1haha she talks like photo

even if that is considered a mermaid, it is not shown as tight as it is. it's a looser fit. on my fmil it's sooooo tight she can't sit/

uuughh. so I sent them pictures and included ones of the 2 dresses so they could see. they told me they made my "ball gown" into a ball gown so I could wear a petticoat underneath it, and I would have to buy a petticoat. I wanted a-line the picture shows an a-line and I don't want to buy or wear a petticoat. they should have asked if I was wearing one BEFORE making it longer. and that's also a HUGE petticoat to take care of the massive extra inches on my dress. It's perfect as the a-line it is. just it's way too long. I don't accept that as an answer to push my saying that their Q &C is right.

please dressilyme... I had such faith in you... please don't let me down!
