Hi ladies! I thought this may be best to ask this group... My CNA certification is about to expire in a month. My whole family and FI have been on me FOREVER to get a job as one to get my foot in the door etc and it's me own fault I've let it go so long. I'm trying to find info as far as, if it does expire, has anyone heard of a refresher course or something I could do to reinstate it without having to start back at square one?? I am, of course, scurrying around like a crazy person trying to get in somewhere before it expires. I will have my phlebotomy certification this summer, but keeping my CNA would be good jsut bc it's more closely related to nursing. Thanks for the input!

My local community college does a CNA refresher - you may want to check with your local colleges with nursing and CNA programs.

I actually found out my hours working at our medical spa as a CNA were accepted so I am renewed for 2 more years! Woohoo! Now to find a more full time job in the field....
