Father/Daughter Dance

My father is disabled. He is wheelchair bound for the most part. He can stand, and walk with crutches, but a dance will not be an option - and that truly breaks my heart.

I am a daddy's girl. He raised me as a single father since I was 5 years old. We are very close.

Does anyone have any suggestions for an alternative to the Father/Daughter dance, but him and I still get that special moment together?

I think you guys can still do a little dance..it does not matter if he's on a wheelchair, with a little practice moving around, I think it would be beautiful if you guys do :)

I agree with Monche...you could still do a little father/daughter dance if it wouldn't make your dad uncomfortable.

Or you could put together a slide show of you and him through the years, and hold his hand while it's played:) That would be a special moment for you two.

I think that a dance with him in the wheel chair would be adorable. Found this on youtube...so sweet. The father is in a wheelchair and they choreographed a dance together.

I was going to suggest the same thing about the slideshow! Think that would be a great alternative! Agree with trying the dance too. : )
