There are two songs I'm considering

• Chrisette Michelle --I think it is "Your Joy" it is a song that talks about her relationship with her dad, and she will always be daddy's girl ....
• Beyonce - Daddy

Were having a 'parents dance', FI will dance with his mom while I dance with our dad.

We're dancing to " Never Alone" by Lady Antebellum.

My father and I are definitely dancing to Chrisette Michele-Your Joy.  It made me cry the first time I heard it and it has been in my mind ever since...

I need to thank him for everything he has none for me including paying for my wedding so we're dancing to ~ Celine Dion's "because you loved me"

My dad & I are  dancing to "You will always be my baby" by Mariah Carey

@butterflygirl, pretty good choice, I like it, Im trying to find something other than "Daddy" by Beyonce..it doesnt really "fit" our relationship...

We are doing a mix the dance will begin with Chrisette Michelle's "Your Joy" then after the first verse and chorus the DJ will have the record skip and go into "Groove Tonight" by Earth Wind & Fire. My dad loves to dance so we figured we'd have the surprise dance here instead of with me and FI.

I'm choosing a blues song that He always listened too. Not traditional at all. He didnt raise me and we recently tried to patch up our relationship.
