I am smitten.

I want to make this...but don't even have the slightest clue how.  How do you think the bottom of the bloom is held together?

I was working on my flower purse with my friend earlier and we tried using crazy glue and small push pins. It held it really well :o] we're getting there! That hair piece is gorgeous! Have you looked at Woskov's etsy? She has gorgeous items! Can't wait to see how it turns out! Thanks for all the awesome posts and being such a big help on here :o) we appreciate it

It looks like a feather flower so the base of the flower could be soft.

10 pcs -- Silver Metal Hair Combs 9 teeth (28x35mm)Maybe you can get a metal plain comb and sew it on the comb and then reinforce it with a glue?

I'm assuming it was put on a comb but you could do this with a plain barrette?

Jewelry Makers Lot - Pin Backs And Hair Barrettes For Embellishment put a satin ribbon on the top and glue that sucker on there!

let me know how it goes!

LOL! Thanks girls. :)

How would I form the flower first before gluing that sucker onto a barette or a comb?  I know you can do it on a piece of felt, but that's usally for "flat" looking flowers.  This one kind of forms a cup shape.

Does it require some kind of wiring?  Like this maybe?  Or will that be a nightmare to tack onto a clip afterwards?

LOL Thanks girls How photo 2929323-1

no sad face no sad face!

ok so here's a tutorial on how to do the outer part of the flower:

I found it online.

I can't help but think that in order to cup it you roll the feather and either glue or sew and the use the tutorial above?
