I am finally getting some stuff in so I started on my Tears of Joy packets: I'm using cardstock from paperandmore.com in metallic purple and teal. I'm changing the ribbon every twenty packets as well on both colors to add some fun to it. I had to hand cut each little sign because my trimmer couldn't cut this kind of paper for some reason so hopefully you can't really tell that the sign isn't geometrically perfect lol the one thing i'm happy about is that i can make 4 packets from on 8 1/2" x 11" paper from these so totally cost effective :) I decided to bling the bottom of my shoe with inspiration from AnnaB83 :) : I ordered my bling from yourperfectgift from etsy, and didn't realize it was bigger than Anna's bling but it worked at least! and I started on my bout, the father of the groom and bride will have a royal blue ribbon, while the groomsmen will have purple and teal and my man will have ivory. my main colors are purple, teal with accents of champagne and royal blue with peacock feathers. sounds like a lot i know, but i wanted color and fun!: That's all for now but I'm so happy I can get started on some things! hopefully by the time I add another page on my bio these will be complete and on to other DIY's! if you have any suggestions i'm open to them! |

UPDATE! i made my very first bracelet! i think i'll end up using this for my rehearsal dinner but i know how to do it now! uh, don't mind the polka dot pjs lol |
