So this is my first vent and I have been bottling it up and now I am about to explode!!!  From the very beginning (2 years ago) my in laws said they would be taking care of the rehearsal dinner and the next day breakfast/brunch.  So everything, or so I thought, was set up and ready to go.  Well last night I find out they NEVER booked a room for the breakfast at the hotel where all of our guests are staying, our wedding is in 22 days oh and the hotel is 100% booked.  2 weeks ago my FI asked if everything was ready to go and they said YES...flat out lied.  Their defense is they looked at the menu and they didnt like it so they figured thet would have something catered at their house.  Okay so I am totally okay with that...IF YOU DIDNT LIVE IN A 2 BEDROOM CONDO...where are you going to put the 30 people that are supposed to be coming and where are the supposed to park since you have no parking!?!?!?!!?!?  I do not understand what their issues are...if it is money just say it is so we can prepare.  if i would have known this even 2 months ago wwe could have paid for it, but not with less than 3 weeks to go.  I am so frustrated with them and have been for most of this process (we never had issues before, thought it was going to be great....now the ugly in laws are coming out).

Okay rant over, now I have to figure out how to accomodate 30 plus people in a 2 bedroom condo and find places for them to park.  yay me

Thanks for your eyes and ears ladies...needed to get that off my chest <3

Sounds very frustrating. I would let them figure everything out since they are the ones wanting to did it at their house. now it is their problem and not yours. I know I say this and it sounds so simple to just let it go, but I would be stressed about it too. Good Luck!

That sucks, but since they said it was totally covered, then just tell anyone who asks that your in laws have decided to handle it all. If it sucks, they will know it isn't your fault!

thanks for the support ladies, at this point I am doing exactly what you all suggested and I am just letting them handle it.  It is out of my hands and I have entirely to many other things that are more important that need my attention.  Thanks for you eyes and ears I truly appreciate it.
