fitting

I went for my first fitting today.  I am so excited.  I had been alittle upset about my dress because it didn't fit like the one on the rack.  I figured it was because the one on the rack was worn and streghted out in the chest area.  When I went in for the fitting the alteration lady seen me and said I'm going to sew these cups in your dress because I don't like how the manufaturer does the bust area.  I told her great I thought it was just me.  I am really hoping that I once everything is done that I start to feel more comfortable.  Not to mention that I may need to lose 5 lbs because of my fat back and to make my dress fit a little loser.  I should of went with the 8 instead of the 6.  I just didn't want to chance needing more alterations because 100 for a hem was enough.  I will let you ladies know how it goes in a month.

No worries girl - the first fitting isn't always the best fitting!  It'll start to feel more comfortable and more like your dress when the alterations start taking place!  If it's 5 lbs you've got to lose, you can do that in a month!!  Totally do-able.  :)  Keep us posted and good luck!!
