I have a problem, FI is just an inch or two taller than I am usually it doesn't bother me. But wearing 4 inch heels will make me tower over him and I don't want that.Want him to look taller than me. So I guess flates it is. Does/ has any one else had this problem or can give suggestions?

Sorry can't really help because DH is def taller than me :) So for luck I could go with high wedding pumps.

I just looked at you Bio and saw your amazing wedding flats - these are so perfect for your wedding!!! And if your not feeling comfortable with the flats and you would love to wear heels I think it doesn't seem to be a problem because the most important thing is that your happy on your wedding day!!! And I've seen a lot of brides who are taller than their husband.

keep in mind his dress shoes will add a couple inches to him, so if you wore a small heel, you might be ok!! i wore heels because we are about 6" apart, and his dress shoes added almost 2" to him, so i was good to go! but i have seen lots of beautiful flats with gorgeous embellishments on them if your worried about flats being too "boring".

or you could go with something like these, that have a 1.5" heel, plus the two inches he'll get from his shoes, you guys will look about the same height difference you are now, but youll still get to wear heels!

The great thing about wedding dresses is that they are so long you can't even see your shoes! If I didn't raise my dress, no one would have had any idea I had on heels! And as you know because you were there, my feet were killing me directly after the ceremony and you gave me your flip flops to wear! Lol. So I say go for it with the flat and the ones you chose are so gorgeous!!!

Not only do I not like heels, but my fiance is a tiny bit shorter than I am, so I have an excuse not to wear them! I bought my shoes from Famous Footwear online, but at the moment, they're sold out of white there. I was trying to post a link to a store than has them but PW won't let me post links until I've posted twice, so just do a search for "Hot Kiss Sophie White" and you should find the shoes available at Marty Shoes dot com.

They were well reviewed, and I received them and they seem pretty comfortable and true-to-size. I think they're actually cuter than the pictures.

They are very white, so it may not look so good together if your dress is darker, like champagne.

Good luck!

Christine

DH & I are the same height, but I really wanted to wear heels for the wedding (and I didn't want to have my dressed altered) so I chose a pair with a low heel (1 1/2".) I wore flats for the reception though, as I wore another dress. These were my shoes:

There are lots of beautiful flats out there :)

Michales sells Wedding slippers and I am ONLY wearing heels for ceremony. There is NO way I would wear high heels for 4 + hours.
