I know I read someone's bio who got good inexpensive flower girl dresses.

I'm just looking for something simple, but I don't want this mother to have to pay $600 for dresses, (both her daughers are going to be my flower girls)

any advice ladies?

thanks so much.

always so much good advice on these forums.

It matters how casual or fancy your wedding is.  If it's outdoors, I have seen some cute tutus with leotards and head wreaths.  Then the kids can use them for dress up later.  (This example is from www.weddingtutu.com )

This site has LOTS of options: http://shop.fancygirlsdresses.com/category.sc?categoryId=22

My wedding is more casual, so I actually found a really cheap dress at Walmart that works.

This one is from www.target.com.  They have it in pink and yellow.

This one is from Target too.  I imagine they could add a colored sash to match your wedding colors.

If none of these work, try googling inexpensive flower girl dresses, Easter dresses, and first communion dresses.  Each of those turns up a long list of sites.

Too cute! I know what you mean about pricing- especially for such a little dress haha

Another option would be is to not get a "flower girl dress" there are some BEAUTIFUL dresses out there without that label, you know? I LOVE colored ones too!!!!

- HMM :)

I'm renting mine from Gaga's. I ordered one to see how it is in person (double check the quality, colors, etc...) and they are fabulous! You get a really expensive dress for super cheap. Mine is worth over $100 but I only paid $16 for a 3 week rental!! Here's the one I ordered:

Try these guys - Like you I offered to purchase my flower girl dresses because both my SIL girls were our flowergirls and I didn't want her to spend too much $$ I got the dresses from here http://www.butterflyxc.com/

thanks so much. i love the rental idea too. and good to know you checked the quality.

much obliged for all of your help.

oh on a more somber note, a friend of mine actually attended a wedding where the bridesmaids wore the leotards with circle skirt look that's mentioned above for the flower girls (so cute on a flower girl!). needless to say it was tragic. anyone over 5 just doesn't look cute in the leotard look. ha.
