Flower Girl in Midst of Potty Training - Advice?

I need a little advice on this particular situation.

Our Goddaughter was to be our pick for flower girl, she is in the midst of being potty trained right now. She's currently in the stage where she's not able to tell her parents before she has an accident. The wedding isn't until November, so theres a chance she could be fully potty trained by then or still training.

Since her mother is in the bridal party, if we have her participate as flower girl, I am thinking that we would we need to have an additional someone to stand-by to take her on bathroom runs if need be during the ceremony and photo taking. Would it be too soon to have a child who would be recently potty trained/in the midst of potty training involved as the flower girl?

Another option would be that my fiance does have a cousin that is elementary school aged that would be able to stand as our flower girl.

She'll probably be wearing pull-ups or something along those lines right?  So if there is an accident it wont be so bad.  If her mother doesnt plan on having her wear those, maybe you could ask her to just for the one day.

They should just dedicate one weekend to potty training. You can potty train in one weekend, but you must be able to be with the child at all times. I do not really believe in long drawn out potty training because it is just easier to set a weekend aside to do it.

Thanks ladies!

The method they are using right now is getting her tired of sitting in soiled undergarments, so she can recognize when she has to go. So it's been a more prolonged process.

Having her wear a Pull-Ups if shes not trained by then might be a good option also.
