Hi all, so this past weekend we did a marathon of wedding appointments! Not only did we meet with our officiant, go out to the property for wine tasting and cake taste, we also did our food tasting and menu. I forgot to take pictures of the cakes
during the tasting, but I will post the sketch as soon as I can get it scanned. Anywho, here's what we came up with for our menu, thought you'd all enjoy :)
Hors Doeuvres:
1. Crab stuffed mushrooms (didn't try)
2. Grilled Beef Satays
3. Grilled Caggiano Chicken-Herb Sausage
4. Spinach and Feta Triangles with mushrooms
Main Courses and sides:
1. Stuffed Chicken Breast with Smoked Mozzarella, Spinach and Mushrooms (this was SO GOOD) paired with Penne Pasta, Butternut Squash & Truffle Oil
2. Grilled Tri-Tip, Merlot Jus Lie with Port Wine-Caramelized Onions
paired with Garlic Mashed Potatoes with Asiago Cheese (yummers!)
3. Salad of local greens (almost forgot to take a picture, this is what was left of Chris' salad, ha ha)
4. Grilled Provencale Vegetables
5. Housemade Focaccia (didn't get to taste, and I was bummed!)
