FYI: Alohal Airlines - Bankrupt and Closing Down!!

Ladies, I read this on Yahoo today and confirmed via www.alohaairlines.com. Monday, March 31, 2008 will be Aloha's last day of service. If you have flights already booked on Aloha you should talk to your travel professional and credit card company and get a refund and purchase via another carrier. We were set to go island hopping in September for our honeymoon and now we will be looking for cheap fares via other carriers (so far Hawaiian is the best, but still $151 more than the Aloha reservation). Best of luck to all of you who will be rescheduling!

Unbelievable! We always fly them for interisland stuff. A few of the girls on the Hawaii Board at the The Knut are freaking out because they're getting married in a couple of weeks and their entire guest list booked on Aloha. YIPES

I would hope that they would get refunds. But seriously, that's just CRAZY.

I have a friend getting married in June in HI, and I wonder if this'll impact her, too.
