After looking FOREVER for the perfect bridesmaid shoes, I finally found them a couple of months ago at endless.com:

http://www.endless.com/Nine-West-Womens-Jojus2/dp/B000W2LQDG/ref=sr_1-1?ie=UTF8&qid=1210471519407&cAsin=B000VYVICO&asinTitle=Nine%20West%20Jojus2&asins=B000VYVICO&sr=1-1&fromPage=search&showDesigner=2&node=242169011&keywords=jojus2

I bought them for my out-of-town bridesmaids, who e-mailed me their sizes. One of my bridesmaids is in town this weekend and tried the shoes on, and they're about half a size too big (I got her a 7, and it looks like she needs a 6.5) - but now I can't find a 6.5 ANYWHERE online!!! I can return these and the ones I bought for the other bridesmaid, but the prospect of having to start from scratch to find the perfect shoe drives me crazy!

Is there anything I can do to make this size fit for just this one day? Any products out there that I could use? Or should I just suck it up and return the shoes?

Thanks in advance!

P.S. These were my second choice shoe:

Should I just return the others and get this pair?

Are the shoes sold in department stores (Macy's, Bloomingdale's, Nordstrom) or at Nine West? Sometimes they can search the store inventory and have it shipped.

I'm a huge fan of Kenneth Cole shoes because they are very comfy, so buying the second choice pair is a very nice possibility. Also, I was in a Kenneth Cole store this weekend and they were having a Mother's Day sale on all women's stuff... I think it was around 20-30% off.

The two shoes look similar so nobody will notice. All my bridesmaids wore their own shoes and I didn't notice it in the pictures at all. =)

if you stick with the first pair (9west) she can always use the heel insets and shoe inserts to "pad" the shoe so her feet can fit

but the kenneth cole shoes are nice also

if you dont want to rish the 9west shoes not fitting even with the heel pads and inserts, then i'd go for the 2nd pair; maybe get her the 7 and 6.5 and return the ones tht dont fit???

Thank you both! I made my bridesmaid (i.e., little sister) try on the shoes one more time on Sunday, before I made any big decisions, and now she says the shoes fit! (This is just symptomatic of her wishy-washiness about my wedding in general, I guess...) So I think I'll go ahead and get some shoe inserts and order an extra size for my maid of honor, just in case...but otherwise, I think the crisis has been averted lol.

I think I was just extra frustrated because it's been like pulling teeth to get my sister to do even the most minimal things for my wedding - like try on her bridesmaid gown and shoes...we're close and she loves my fiance, but she has no interest whatsoever in my wedding (she didn't even want to go dress shopping with me). Even my little brother shows more interest and has been more helpful. It's very disappointing, but I guess that's life!

Anyhoo, thanks again for making me feel better, ladies!

if the shoes feel a little big, tell her to get foot petals! they're awesome, fashionable shoe pads. i love them. they make all my heels comfy. they work really well in shoes that are about a half size too big because they fill the dead space with padding.

Oooh - I've heard of foot petals, and I think they'd be perfect to have on hand. Thanks, catandmark!
