So......My boyfriend and I have been together for 4 years in June, We have been talking about getting married for 3 of those years...we've talked, and talked, and talked, and talked....but no ring and no sign of anything happening soon. I understand money is tight right now cause i am going to school and not working as much but it is starting to drive me crazy that he hasnt even looked for one yet. He tells me he wants to get married but now I dnt know...... Everyone asks all the time when we are getting married and where is my ring....its starting to become an embarrassment. I've been planning forever and now i am starting to feel like an idiot, maybe i need to just get my mind off it and let things take its course but its so hard... Any suggestions????  =(       

Well sit your guy down i tell him how u are feeling & whats going on. Like about everyone askin when u are going to get married & wheres ur ring etc.

My advice is to read other posts in this group, we've all been there! I even picked a fight the day before our engagement (about not yet being engaged) and Sean had to keep his cool bc he couldn't scream "just wait one more day miss impatient pants!" bc he didn't want to mess it up, he had it all planned out. Any who, what sucked the most to me is that he pretended not to be excited about a future engagement, wedding planning etc bc he didn't want to give away the timing of the proposal. But in doing so, it broke my heart to think he wasn't as excited about marrying me. I told him he's no longer aloud to "act" he's not excited. Point being, talk about it, but don't beat the topic to death (even though I didn't follow that last part).
