I'm getting married in August at The Ranch Golf Club in San Jose and want to find a nice hotel around San Jose to stay at the night before. Anyone have any suggestions for a hotel that has a good environment for pictures? Anywhere within a half hour drive from the Ranch would work too. (Palo Alto, Cuptertino, los gatos area)

Hotel Valencia in Santana Row is nice.

Cypress hotel - great trendy place for photos in Cupertino

Hotel Sainte Claire - gorgeous, old hollywood feel, but a smaller hotel

Hotel Los Gatos - trendy boutique hotel

I 2nd Cypress Hotel for great photos! They have chic decor and also:

• complimenatry wine hour
• walking distance to Tartini (yummy frozen yogurt)
• easily accessible

The Fairmont (where we're holding our reception) is also another great hotel.  And there's the fountains across the street at the plaza for pictures.

Hotel Valencia is really nice and there are some great picture spots along Santana Row.

I also love the Rosewood in Menlo Park. It's brand new and very modern and the decor is so luxurious!! It's off 280 and Sand Hill Road - near Stanford Mall.
