Yay, lost a pound and a half inch off each arm!!!

Here's the stats:

Yay lost a pound photo 1090662-1

Breakdown of the week:

Sunday: ate 1350, BMR 1800, burned about 150, net intake: -600

Monday: ate 1600, BMR 1800, burned about 250, net intake: -450

Tuesday: ate 1650, BMR 1800, burned about 600 calories (45 min jog/walk plus 20 min jillian 30 day shred), net intake: -750

Wednesday: ate 1200, BMR 1800, burned about 150 calories, net intake: - 750

Thursday: ate 1500, BMR 1800, burned about 250, net intake: - 550

Friday: ate 1350, BMR 1800, burned about 350 (jillian no more trouble zones, 45 mins), net intake: -800

Weekly calorie deficit = -3900 calories!!!  (there's my pound :) )


For my workouts:

Monday: 30 mins jog/walk on treadmill

Tues: 45 mins run/walk on treadmill, plus 20 min 30-day-shred video

Wed: 30 mins jog/walk on treadmill, leg machine weights

Thurs: 25 mins on elliptical (it was supposed to be 45 run/walk but I didn't get the treadmill...)

Friday: 45 NMTZ jillian video

Today: I think i'll do my Thurs workout today :)  45 run/walk plus 20 min video

I've started taking progress pics.. I will post all my pics when I reach my first goal around xmas: 165 pounds :)

wow that's awesome! you're doing great!  you've just motivated/inspired me too which is good cause i've been slacking A LOT these past couple weeks.  i think i'm going to make a chart like yours cause it's really good to see the progress overall, especially when there are those weeks when you don't lose any pounds or inches.  

question... the NMTZ dvd is all cardio or a combination of cardio and weights?  i have the shred but i'm looking for a new cardio dvd for when i can't make it to the gym.

Do the "boost metabolism" video.. it's SUPER cardio and hard... the NMTZ is more weights than cardio...

Congrats girl! You are doing great, you are an inspiration to me! I felt well enough to do the shred video again tonight. I was so surprised how much easier it was the second time!

How are you tracking how much you burn with the Jillian videos? And are you using a website to keep track of your net intake?

Leslie- yeah I use LiveStrong.com to track calories, workouts, etc.  I've been kinda "wingin" it with the workout burned calories, using Sparkpeople and calories per hour and Livestrong to "estimate" my calories for workouts.  I don't have a heart rate monitor yet....

For the jillian michaels videos, i'm using "circuit training- aerobic, min rest" for the calories burned... I know it's probably not UBER accurate, but that's all I have now to go on.
