Being put at a table where you know no one! I went to a wedding on Saturday and I knew about 6 or 7 people there, and was hoping to be sat with them. I was sat at a table where I knew no one, it was kind of sad!

that's my only gripe about weddings actually - is being seated at a table where i dont know a single soul - those times however - it's the "wives' or gf's table" of the groomsmen...and i was the "+1" of a groomsman...

other than that - i'm just excited someone thought of me enough to be invited - bad food, warm beer, suckass parking, those things dont matter really... i love weddings for the love and joy, not all the other stuff...

Overly drunk guests being loud and obnoxious. I have seen many a wedding ruined by someone getting too tipsy and starting fights with their significant others or friends - and these were black tie formal events! My brother and law and his ex girlfriend for one. At our wedding, we served limited drinks and kept anyone we knew who was going to cause trouble out of the picture altogether. Although this is sometimes hard to avoid, especially if they are close family.

Another thing that kind of irked me at my friend's wedding was that they didnot have enough soda and water to drink. Everyone got one tiny glass and it was gone with the wind. Worst thing was, only half her expected guest list even showed up, so they should have been set. I think if you're going to have family or friends help with the wedding, you should be able to rely on them. If there are any doubts, find someone else to help with heavy tasks and leave the simple stuff to the flakey people. :)
